A 2022 guest suggested that we could create a private outside seating area in the courtyard behind Wisteria Holiday Cottage which catches the morning sunshine.
So, starting in November 2022 here are the stages involved.
1 We cleared an area of bushes in the area between the old privy and the fence with next door.
2 Underneath we discovered a large concrete paving slab, so we ordered more modern paving slabs which were placed on top.
3 New borders were created and trellises erected to support the new climbing plants
4 A new bistro table and 3 chairs were purchased to provide a new seating area for Wisteria Holiday Cottage which should make a great place for breakfast.
5 We cleared all the ivy from the fence adjoining Michaelmas Cottage next door and created a flower bed around the tree.
