Charming village life. We stayed at Wisteria Cottage for 2 weeks and the longer we stayed, the more we enjoyed our experience. Super convenient for day trips, a few good pubs and shops within walking distance and the Red Kites are amazing to watch

Love at first sight! This charming cottage is cosy and comfortable. The village has a brilliant butchers and the Indian restaurant delivered an amazing meal. It was a cosy home from home. Lots of useful information provided. The local walks are great and we had a lovely pre-Christmas break. The decorations in the cottage were a fab touch.

The cottage was perfect!

We stayed for nearly 2 weeks. So welcoming, with everything you could need. The fire was perfect for the cold Christmas mornings and there were toys provided for our kids. The location was fantastic. Jane’s communication beforehand and during was great too and she went out of her way to help us out.

We stayed in this lovely cottage for 4 weeks between a house sale/purchase. Jane was so helpful and patient during a time of uncertainty. The town is lovely with some great independent shops and a good choice of pubs. Great walks and places to visit nearby. It was absolutely perfect!

The Red Kites hovering overhead are a splendid sight and if you are interested in geo caching, there are several in the village and nearby.

Very comfortable and well equipped cottage

Ideal for a couple and a dog or two, it’s on the edge of the small town of Watlington and 10 minutes walk either way takes you to the town centre or to the country.

Comfy bed, a nice big bathroom, lovely patio to enjoy meals on. Really enjoyed our time at this cottage. Watlington is a treasure!

Great little place for a stay in the Chilterns

Really well kept, clean and the beds are comfortable. Kitchen is a good size and well equipped. Location was perfect to visit Wallingford, Henley, Thame and the surrounding countryside. A perfect stay for us.

Most enjoyable and a good base for touring the Chilterns

We had a very comfortable stay of 4 nights at Wisteria Cottage and visited several National Trust properties and the River Thames. We would recommend the cottage to others and would consider a repeat visit ourselves.

Just spent a few days at Wisteria Cottage Watlington which was perfect. Lovely welcome pack and the cottage was very cosy. Lots to do in the surrounding area and walks from the door.
